Rocket, fresh asparagus, Parmesan or pecorino shavings and olive oil is a perfect match with the Alexanderfontein Sauvingon Blanc. Make a delicious starter or side dish with these ingredients and you could even add more fresh ingredients like cucumber or a pink lady apple, sliced in thin wedges.
Recipe: Asparagus with rocket and Pecorino: Trim and rinse a packet of fresh asparagus. Place in a shallow bowl and cover with boiling water. Allow to stand for a few minutes or until just tender and rinse thoroughly in cold water. Drain well and arrange on a platter or individual plates with fresh rocket and Pecorino shavings.
