The Ormonde Wines estate

A family—rooted in Darling soil.

Ormonde Wines vineyards growing around ancient Darling granite
01 Granite soils · Darling

Ormonde Wines is a boutique, family-owned estate producing award-winning wines from grapes grown in Darling.

Here, dryland vines send their roots deep into ancient, weathered granite. Summer fog and the Atlantic breeze slow the ripening season, preserving freshness while building concentrated fruit character.

Winemaking is done with modern precision meeting traditional craft. Open fermentation, cold soaking, barrel fermentation and patient maturation allow every block to speak clearly.

The table at Ormonde Wines

A platter worth lingering over.

Our generous cheese and charcuterie platters are made for slow afternoons beneath the trees—local flavours, freshly prepared and best enjoyed with a bottle from the cellar.

The selection changes with the season and may include artisan cheeses, cured meats, country pâté, farm-baked bread and preserves. Toasties with hand-cut potato wedges, breakfast bagels and banana-bread French toast bring the same generous spirit to the table.
